Dr. David Fickas - Newburgh, Indiana DentistFrank David Fickas, DDS was born in Evansville, Indiana and currently lives in Newburgh. In his youth, Dr. Fickas attained the rank of Life Scout in the Boy Scouts of America organization. Dr. Fickas graduated from Castle High School in 1998. During his junior year of high school, he joined the Indiana National Guard and volunteered for deployments to Bosnia in 2001 and Iraq in 2003. Dr. Fickas is currently serving as a Captain in the Indiana National Guard, providing dental care for our soldiers. After his deployments, Dr. Fickas attended the University of Southern Indiana, where he majored in biology and made the dean’s list multiple times for academic honors. Following his graduation in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Fickas moved to Indianapolis to attend the Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated in May 2013. During his dental education, Dr. Fickas made the dean’s list for academic performance and won multiple awards in the field of dental implants. Dr. Fickas enjoys being back in his hometown and providing dental care to local families.

In his free time, Dr. Fickas enjoys spending time with his family; friends; wife, Kristen; and their son, Briar. He also spends time hunting and fishing every year. Dr. Fickas volunteers at Mesker Park Zoo whenever he gets the chance to help the veterinarian with dental procedures on the animals. Also, Dr. Fickas volunteers at the Impact Ministries Dental Blitzes.
